Schrodinger's Sno-Cat

  1. Feb 3, 2014 #1
Here's a funny I thought brilliant story to relate for the sake of humor and physics, and thinking about things...

I was working (measuring gravity) out of a couple sno-cats up on the frozen arctic ocean a few years back, and they were run down machines. Old, leaking everything, janky transmissions and you're ten miles out on the frozen ocean in 50F below- it feels like a different planet, pretty serious. I get on the radio with my buddy Derek, who's in the cat with an exhaust leak into the cab, 'stinky cat', and he answers the call, 'Schrodinger's sno-cat, we're obviously still alive.'

Just a funny story and a cool play on literal words.
