If you are around or close to the Chicagoland area, and a female high school student interested in a career and science/engineering, and your school or teachers don't know about this, please read this webpage:

    http://www.dep.anl.gov/p_k-12/women/

I've been involved with this program for the past 2 years or so, and it has been some of the most rewarding stuff that I've volunteered for. This program has also been honored recently by the DOE.

We need more women in science and engineering, and it is a shame that there is still such disparity today.
