Short history of nearly everything[recommendations]

  1. Jan 16, 2012 #1
Just read this amazing book. https://www.amazon.com/Short-History-Nearly-Everything/dp/0767908171

remarkable insight and very funny at times.i never thought i would say this for a non-fiction book but i couldnt stop reading it.dont know how accurate it was though!

well it was written back in 2003 so i was wondering are there any new books that cover such a big scope of science in depth and still be read by laymen.

i am thinking of starting this book https://www.amazon.com/Theories-Eve...-Science/dp/0792239121?tag=vglnk-c905-20..any comments on it are also welcomed.

    Thank You
