Right now I'm choosing between biotech and chemical engineering in my polytechnic course (those of you who don't know what that is, it's like 1 level down of a university and it comes after the O levels). I know I'm interested in chemistry because I'm always thinking of questions about it and sometimes out of my syllabus too. But I'm not sure if i should opt for biotechnology later this year. I would like to know if biotech is mainly focused on chemistry or biology? Because from what i feel chemistry is more concept based than biology whereby it's all about memory. If I'm interested in chemistry should i go for this course? Thanks for the help!
