Staff Emeritus
Signatures, Avatars, the ability to log on invisibly, and several other features are now benefits of premium membership to PF

### JasonRox

It's so dang expensive.

5. Sep 24, 2004

It's rounds up to about $93 for one year! 6. Sep 24, 2004 ### i_wish_i_was_smart ouch, i dont have that kind of money burning a whole in my wallet 7. Sep 25, 2004 ### Evo ### Staff: Mentor It's the price of a bag of chips per month, but PF membership is all natural, contains no fat, no calories, no carbohydrates, no sodium and no preservatives. 8. Sep 25, 2004 ### enigma Staff Emeritus It's$25/year... where do you get $93? Even in Canadian dollars that's only around$32

That's if you factor in the exchange rate of 3.75 monopoly dollars per US dollar.

### Chrono

And no taste!!!

Talk about capitalism! I'll just have to add a signature to every post on my own then! But that's fine.

he probably got it from exageration, but i thought i read 25$a month 15. Sep 25, 2004 ### Chrono I certainly hope I am. 16. Sep 25, 2004 ### JasonRox This is how I got it. I took the$25, and put it in the Crazy Money Function Machine and got $93.$25---->F----->$93 The range is [0,infinte). How the function works is unknown. 17. Sep 26, 2004 ### enigma Staff Emeritus Uhm... OK? It's$25 for a whole year. At current exchange rates, that's just over $32 canadian. I think there is also some sort of discount for paying for several years up front. 18. Sep 26, 2004 ### The_Professional But that's what makes it so good...arggghh!! 19. Sep 26, 2004 ### Moonbear Staff Emeritus Yeah, if you buy 5 years, you get the 6th year free. I love PF and all, but that was too much of a committment. I'm sticking with the annual membership. 20. Sep 27, 2004 ### Chrono Sounds good. I've thought about doing it whenever I have the money to spend on it.$25 a year is a dang good price, I say.

Staff Emeritus
And well, keep in mind that signatures and avatars don't really fundamentally change the usefulness of the site. We hope that you'll consider a membership to be a donation to help keep the site running (it costs quite a bit of money!) rather than as payment for services rendered. We really do wish we could make every feature of PF completely free to everyone.
