If you haven't heard of Sigur Rós, they are rock group from Iceland. Their songs are sung in a mix of Icelandic or Hopelandic. Hopelandic isn't a language, it is just what they call the sounds they make. You can find one of their most recent concerts on their website: http://sigur-ros.co.uk//tour/2005/20051127.php I find the group rather interesting. They use a variety of different instruments from guitars to xylophones and saws. Also the lead singer uses a violin bow to play his guitar which I find to be quite unique. Check them out if you have the chance.
