Simple Linear Function

    [SOLVED] Simple Linear Function

1.Determine the slope, average rate of change, and y intercept of H(x)=4

3.I believe the Y intercept is 4, the slope is 0 and the avg. rate of change is 0. Is this correct?

Also, does "linear" mean it must be a straight line?

"the Y intercept is 4, the slope is 0 and the avg. rate of change is 0" is correct.

Loosely, linear means straight line, but technically it may also mean the intercept is zero. (In the loose interpretation the intercept does not have to be zero.)
