You have 5 people who have debts unto each other. The amounts of what they owe to each other and amounts they are carrying right now are listed. All debts are due immediately, and they must pay with what they are carrying. Credit or other forms of borrowing are not accepted. What should they do?

    V. Beckham owes
    M. Brown $2000
    E. Bunton $6000
    M. Chisholm $7000
    G. Halliwell $1000

    M. Brown owes
    V. Beckham $9000
    E. Bunton $3000
    M. Chisholm $4000
    G. Halliwell $3000

    E. Bunton owes
    M. Brown $10000
    V. Beckham $2000
    M. Chisholm $8000
    G. Halliwell $7000

    M. Chisholm owes
    E. Bunton $1000
    M. Brown $3000
    V. Beckham $6000
    G. Halliwell $5000

    G. Halliwell owes
    M. Chisholm $2000
    E. Bunton $4000
    M. Brown $7000
    V. Beckham $5000

    V. Beckham is carrying a bill worth $5000 and no money
    M. Brown is carrying a bill worth $2000 and no money
    E. Bunton is carrying $14000
    M. Chisholm is carrying a bill worth $5000 and no money
    G. Halliwell is carrying $3000
