    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    Single cable passing over two pulleys and bearing two identical mass counterweights

    Give the values of the tensions (T0), (T1) and the sag in the cable (f) as a function of :

    Cable span (L)

    Counterweight (M)

    Llinear weight of the cable (q)

    2. Relevant equations

    Give solutions in these 2 cases:
