Solar cell calculate

    How to calculate the voltage produre by solar cell ? Need temperature reading or other apparatus ?

    It's mainly a function of current, temperature and the number of cells in series. The datasheet should provide you with the characteristic I-V curve for a single cell at a given temperature.

    You can assume about 0.6 volts per cell, so you can count up the cells just by looking at the solar panel and multiply by 0.6.

    Watch out for cells in parallel, though. If you have 3 parallel strings of cells, the voltage will only be the same as for one of them.

    This will vary slightly with temperature and also the output only applies in direct sunlight.
