Sound frequency

    A 245 Hz sound with a wavelength of 1.41 m is projected into a narrow canyon. If the canyon is 1.50 km long, what time does it take an echo to be heard?

    How would I solve for this question? :)

    Given the frequency and wavelength, what is the speed of your wave?

    245[hz] * 1.41[m] = 345 m/s? :)

    Right, so the wave must travel 1.5 km while traveling at 345 m/s, how would you find the time taken given the distance traveled and the speed?

    t=1.5km/ 345ms?
    t=4.35s?
