Spin and current

  1. Mar 12, 2010 #1
Hello my name is Jonas Doran and I have three questions for anybody who can answer them I choose you becuase this is not something I think I can find in a book or on the net. These questions is of research quality. First one is: Is there any correlation between electron spin and a current. Does the spin of the electrons in a current effect the current or does it flow like normal. Second: Can current be effect by a normal magnetic field (either electric or normal magnet) and if it is effected what happens to that current. Third and last question: Is there any way to remove the power of the electron spin from the current so you can use the power or movement(is inertia the right termology) of that spin for something else.
