I Spring Question

    Okay, so the question states:

    A 0.10kg block suspended from a spring is pulled to 8.0cm below its equilibrium point and released. When the block passes the equilibrium position, it has a speed of 0.40m/s. What is the speed of the block when it is 4.0cm from the equilibrium position?

    Okay, our professor has not been very helpful in this and I do not know if I have all of the requisite knowledge to solve this. What I do know, from what was taught, is that at the equilibrium position, the mass would be moving at max velocity so at 4.0cm away from the equilibrium position, I know the velocity would be less than .40m/s but I do not know how to calculate it nor the formula. Thanks ahead of time
