In summary, the speaker has a slab made of super concrete and is looking for a compound that will slowly react to expand and break up the slab. They mention that the product for sale is too expensive for their budget and ask if anyone knows of a cheaper alternative. Another person suggests using frozen water or putting a piece of dry wood into the hole, citing the ancient Egyptian method.

So I have a slab made out of super concrete. I drilled holes for something that will expand and pop the slab. But the product for sale is outside my budget for 50 x as much as I need.
Does anyone know a compound that will slowly react to expand forcefully enough to break up the slab?

It depends on your sample.

Did you try freezing water? Extremely cheap and quite powerful.

Put a piece of dry wood into the hole. That was the method ancient Egyptians used in their quarries (you never know when all these strange readings will pay off).
