Homework Help: Stirling's Formula Proof

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    Prove that ln(n!) = nln(n) - n + ln(2*pi*n)/2 for large n.


    2. Relevant equations

    I've been working on the proof but I just cant get it. Can anyone help me out?
