Strange sand bag

    Hi to all, I have a question. Can anyone tell me how this strange sand bag http://www.stormtec.net/ work? I don't this that's magic lol

    According to its datasheet, it contains cross-linked polyacrylamide, which is a material that will soak up a lot of water, expanding in the process. So, the answer is "just add water".

    I guess that means you probably have to get it wet BEFORE the storm arrives, otherwise it will be too light and will blow away.

    Also, I'd expect that even when it's wet, its density wouldn't be as high as a normal sand bag, so it might get washed away more easily.
