Hi, I'm a rising high school senior and I figured that this would be a good place to ask questions regarding the Colorado School of Mines. I was wondering how engineers regard this school because I had never heard of this school until I saw an ad somewhere. It seems like a very good school but I was wondering how prospective employers view the school and how it stacks up against other schools such as the University of Rochester, UMich, UWash.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that school has an excellent engineering reputation, maybe even better than some of the examples you gave.
