Suggestion for a topology book

In summary, there are many recommendations for general topology books in the sub-forum dedicated to books. Some popular options include "Topology" by James R. Munkres, "General Topology" by John L. Kelley, and "Counterexamples in Topology" by Lynn Arthur Steen and J. Arthur Seebach Jr. It is suggested to also search within the forum for previous discussions on this topic. A specific book, "Topology" by James Munkres, can be found through the provided Amazon link.

I need a suggestion for a name of a general topology book, I'd be grateful if there's a link for it.

There's a sub-forum here that's only about books. Search for "topology" there, and you'll find many recommendations.

I think that Munkres offeres a nice introduction to general topology. If you're more advanced, then you can try Willard or Kelley.
The book "counterexamples in topology" by Steen and Seebach is not really a textbook, but it's a must for everybody who's serious about topology!

This thread has been moved there. I second Fredrik's suggestion to do a search.
