In summary, a new terror alert has been issued in response to the possibility of pigeons being used as suicide bombers. This news has been met with a mixture of humor and concern, with some suggesting forming alliances with other bird species to combat the threat. However, others are skeptical and believe this is all just a rumor.

Oh man this is bad news!

*looks at those birds on the telephone wires*

... terrorists...

Rumour has it that the birds are using rabbits as intelligence gatherers but this has yet to be confirmed.

Rabbits have made a statement off-the-record that they resent that not only have members of their kind been imprisoned (without a fair trial) but also their carrots are being nicked.

Male rabbits are calling on all female rabbits to be available for impregnation in order to combat the threat of humans shooting and eating them.

Well, the darn things have been bombing my car with a nasty ammonia containing compound for years! :yuck:

Do you think we could fool PETA with this story and send them after the terrorists?

Oh, if only Alfred Hitchcock were alive today...

Fortunately, not all birds are terrorist sympathizers. Forming an alliance with peregrine falcons would be an effective way of combating this threat. Peregrine falcons are very brave and will attack pigeons at every opportunity, even those filled with explosives (the mid-air strikes could be very spectacular).

Shhhh, it's possible that Peregrine falcons are affiliated with the SAS (counter terrorist specialists)
