I am a second year graduate student studying Algebraic Geometry. For various reasons I am considering switching to an applied mathematics route. I have studied lots of algebra, geometry and some graph theory but, when it comes the traditional applied subjects, do not have much more than a first graduate level course in measure theory, functional analysis, and complex analysis. Has anyone made a similar switch with a degree of success or otherwise have thoughts on the matter?(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
