System of pendulums

    a weight with a mass of m2=20g is connected via a cord negligable mass to another weight, m1=10g, which is connected to the ceiling, also via a negligable mass cord. m1 is held in place so that the cord forms a 30 degree angle with the ceiling, and m2 is hanging directly underneath m1.

    what will each of the weights acceleration be as m1 is set free?
    what will the course of movement of the whole system look like?

    dont even know where to start, the only thing i though of doing is using energy to solve this, but the question says not to
