    T/F, Please Help!! Elementary Statistics!!

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

5-If a true-false exam contains 10 questions, there are 20 different ways to answer all the questions.

    2. Relevant equations

There are none for it is a true false question.

    3. The attempt at a solution

I believe this is false, for there is never a set way to answer questions.

Think of it this way - if there is 1 question, you can answer T or F. If there are two questions, you can answer TT, TF, FT, or FF. So how many ways can you answer if there are 20 questions?

That is an absurd statement. You aren't supposed to just guess. You need to know how to calculate the number of ways to fill in the answers to determine whether the answer is true or false.

This isn't a religion question about beliefs. Calculate the number of ways and answer the question with confidence about your answer.
