The best book I found on atomic physics is the book by Bethe and Salpeter, but it is advanced. Every time I need to look up the lifetime of atomic levels and transitions (e.g., 2p -> 1s) in hydrogen, I go to this book. I have forgotten whether it covers the Lamb shift.
