The aromatic ring (Benzoyl) at high temperature

  1. May 3, 2008 #1
    Dear all,

I would like to ask a question regarding advanced materials. I am currently working with benzoyl film and its conductivity.
When a conductivity test was performed against the benzoyl film after it was heated up gradually, it showed increase in the conductivity accordingly until the temperature of 80 degree celcius, and showed decrease in the conductivity after that point. However, when the benzoyl film was heated up directly to a temperature of 130 degree celcius, it showed a very high conductivity, which was higher than the reading during the temperature of 80 degree celcius.
Is there anyone know why is this happened?
    Thanks in advance.
