The constancy of the energy of the universe?

As a general rule, I would not use concepts from theories that you do not have an complete understanding of mathematically (Not to insult you personally Cygni). This helps prevent confusion, and innacuricies in discussion.

I fully agree with Your point though. I do not intent to put inaccuracies in my post and i am not mathematically inclined person, yet. However, i have questions and I demand the answers, even if the questions I ask lack of accuracy and theoretical/mathematical knowledge. (Obviously You have the knowledge and skills to correct and explain the stuff that I miss).

I appreciate all the critics and response made by the PF readers.

Crosson, if there is a change in a photon's energy due to universal expansion, then how does the change in energy occur. Do we assume energy is "Used" to inflate the universe?
