The future of envirn.eng.

  1. Jan 14, 2012 #1
High school student here, I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight as to how the field of environmental engineering will be in the coming years. I've been looking to major in civil engineering and maybe specialize in environmental. However i'm not set on civil, and my other interest is mech. w/speciality in aero eng. To choose between both in the coming years (think around 2020) which one will be in higher demand? Best security? Most freedom? (by this I mean, there are companies everywhere in almost every state where either discp. could be used, and you can venture to other careers such as i-banking, or govt. jobs)
    Thanks!
