Can We Save Our Civilization by Embracing the Concept of the Living Tree?

In summary, the conversation discusses the importance of tuning between opposite sides for a living system to survive. This concept applies to our civilization and its current divide between fundamentalists and "developed" individuals. The use of mass-destructive weapons by either side is a concern, and the idea of the living tree is suggested as a solution. The key to finding balance and reconciling opposing viewpoints is awareness.

No living tree exists if it can't tune its energy between its branches and its roots.

Too much energy to the branches and you fall by gravity, too much energy to the roots and you die by lack of sun light.

Every living system depends on its ability to tune itself between its opposite sides.

Our civilization is a living system and must tune itself between its opposite sides, otherwise it cannot exist.

We are in a crucial time where two main point of views run to two different directions.

Fundamentalists run to the past (to the roots) and so called the developed people run to the future (to the branches).

Both sides can get in the very near future mass-destructive weapons and they are going to use it to force the other side their beliefs.

But as we all know mass-destructive weapons don’t care for our beliefs, and they do their "job" in a very effective way on both sides.

Please can someone know how can we spread the idea of the living tree?

Being aware of either the best or the worse of either views, and from there the individual perceives and decides. Awareness may be the key.

I wholeheartedly agree that we need to find a balance between two opposing viewpoints such as pro-life or pro-choice. We have to reconcile ourselves with others, and realize that our veiws are not always right. But I think that your post can be summed up as "balance"
