Why are there people unable to find their own spouses around, near where they are living ?
What is the main reason for the appearance of dating services on the web ?

The more people you're exposed to, the more likely you are to find someone entirely compatible with you. It seems common sense to me.

    -People are shy.
-This is a suspicious world we live in. You can't just walk up to someone and ask them for a date.
    - People may not have social networks where they meet new people.
    - Dating services provide a sort of chaperone. If you pick somone up at a bar, you have no idea who they are.
    - Dating services put people in contact where B OTH of them are interested in dating. You could ask fifty people for a date, and all fifty are not looking.
It is more efficient for matching people based on their interests rather than on their first impressions of each other.

The list is as varied as the people.
