The physics of differential switches

  1. Dec 10, 2007 #1
I was asked to design a worksheet and demo setup illustrating the physics of a differential switch (high school to undergrad level). Now my electrodynamics is quite rusty, but I guess it has to do with induction. There's just not a lot of info around abouts these little buggers, so any help would be welcome! I found 2 basics schematics online. Which one would you implement?
