Value + Object = 2

royce, with all due respect ...

A stone is a stone of course
of course unless of course
the stone is mister ed.

Carved or not, the stone remains
its original value.

See this equation.

V(=value) + O(=object)
[value added to object] = [null] gain of V

Quantum, perhaps you should price an equivelant piecr of marble then go try to buy a Michealangelo or Rubins. The value added is not just the work done but the beauty add fare outweighs the original value for stone. Beauty alone add termendous value to any stone such as a diamond or ruby, emerald or saphire. They too are "just stones."
I can't agree with your response at all. Sorry.
