I have a small dilemma, so I though I'd ask the geniuses at the physics forum! I dream of becoming of Theoretical Physicist but am recently wondering how much experience do Theoretical Physicists get from working with technology.
My thought of a theoretical physicist is one who calculates complex math equations all day, so I thought I would minor in Nuclear Engineering to get a feel for technology and atomic particles.
So I was wondering am I worrying for nothing, or is there some way to study engineering and theoretical physics at the same time?
