Thread duplication on moderation

    Ive noticed a few times that when a MOD moves a thread to the proper forum that duplicate threads are generated. Currently one such example is "Universe from Nothing" currently in general physics, quantum mechanics and cosmology. Additional posts seem to update all three at the same time

    That's an illusion created by the fact that the original thread is just a link to the new or consolidated one. The redirects are generally set to expire after a few days.
