Homework Help: Time-Dependent Schrodinger Equation

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Verify that for the wave function |[tex]\Psi[/tex]| = a2|[tex]\Psi[/tex]21| + B2|[tex]\Psi[/tex]22| + 2aB[tex]\Psi[/tex]1[tex]\Psi[/tex]2cos(w21t)

    all psis are really psi(x) and the left side of the equation is pis(x,t)

    2. Relevant equations
    a B psi's are all real

    3. The attempt at a solution
    We are not sure about this proof. We cannot find an equation that seems to easily reach the desired right hand side of the equation.
