OK, now I see where Eq 7,8 and 9 tie that together. But there are quite a few terms in those equations, so yes, it would take some time for me to follow it through, they aren't exactly trivial or apparent by inspection to someone like me, who doesn't routinely do thermal calculations. My background is electronics, I tend to think of thermals in terms of V, I and R. I even used SPICE to model a little thermal analysis for someone, to evaluate an A versus B application for chilling 5 gallons of boiling hot wort (raw un-fermented beer) to room temperatures.

BTW, I've followed a number of your posts by now, and I'm very impressed with your knowledge, and especially the time you take and lengths you go to to explain some of these topics. People like you are what make this forum an exceptional place!
