  1. Sep 13, 2004 #1
    Tocks and Glongs ??!

An alien space traveler exploring Earth records that his phasor pistol, dropped from a high cliff, fell a distance of 1 glong in a time of 1 tock. How far will it fall in two tocks?

Can you help me with this problem ?

The key to this problem is realizing it's Free Fall and you cannot use your 9.8m/s^2, because it on units glong and tock, so you need to find the acceleration in glong/tock^2
