http://ibarakinews.jp/news/news.php?f_jun=13198058094820 On 28 October, JAEA reported it had found a 1 cm x 2 cm hole in a duct between the plant and the main (90 m high) stack. The cause is probably corrosion. The Tokaimura reprocessing facility has been stopped since 2007. Apart from small quantities of tritium, radioactive substances have not been found. On 13 September JAEA reported another incident concerning the stop of 3 exhaust ventilators of high level radioactive liquid tanks.
