Not a homework question necessarily but I came across a graph in one of my books from school and wanted more information. Looking at the attached picture it looks like the prevailing zone refers to a screw being torqued into a hole, and the red shows the increase in force probably due to being self tapped? Also I'm assuming angle is referring to angle of turn in degrees, meaning roughly 6.9 turns?
