When the girls were little , I made a dish called "salt chicken". It was thin strips of chicken, sauteed in butter and salt, then served with mayonaise. To this day it's one of their favorite foods.

Definitely cashews! Those are my favorite! (Yes, I'm the cashew thief who picks them all out of the can and leaves the other assortment of nuts behind.)

That sounds horribly unhealthy... although I bet it's good.

It's amazing what you can do with a saute pan, heat, salt, and butter. I haven't met a vegetable that can't be cooked that way.
