Transducer for SRM

  1. Apr 11, 2017 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
I have built the circuit shown in the attached image. It is a switching circuit for a switched reluctance motor. I need to add some sort of transducer to improve the circuit and then explain how to integrate it into the circuit.

I'm just looking for suggestions as to what transducer I can pick for this kind of motor.

    3. The attempt at a solution
I picked a tachometer to measure the speed of the motor, but does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I can use?

Thanks for the thread! This is an automated courtesy bump. Sorry you aren't generating responses at the moment. Do you have any further information, come to any new conclusions or is it possible to reword the post? The more details the better.
