Homework Help: Trigonometric function

  1. Oct 13, 2012 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

A satellite follows a path that may be modelled by the function H(t)= 350 sin 28∏(t-25) + 400

    Time is measured in days.

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

    A) Determine the period of the satellite: 2∏*1/28∏ = 1/14 days
    B) How many minutes will it take the satellite to orbit earth: ??????
    C) How many orbits per day will the satellite make?: 14 times in 1 day

Shouldn't the answer to C be (3600*24)*(1/14) ???? This doesnt match the answer key.
