Tulane-Hopkins Engineering Partnership?

  1. Dec 11, 2008 #1
Hello, I'm currently a high-school senior, and I'm considering going to Tulane and participating in their engineering partnership with Johns Hopkins where one goes to Tulane for 3 years, majoring in Physics, then goes to Hopkins for 2 years, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Does this sound like a good program? Would my education be a lot better than my state university (Oklahoma)? I often hear people say that undergraduate doesn't matter much if your going to graduate school, but do electrical engineers often go to grad school? How might this program compare to Rice, Stanford, etc?

Sorry about all the questions. Thanks a lot!
