Homework Help: Two-Dimensional Motion

    A grasshopper jumps 1.00 m from rest, with an initial velocity at a 44.0° angle with respect to the horizontal.
    (a) Find the initial speed of the grasshopper.
    (b) Find the maximum height reached.

    From the formula I got t=Dx/vi cos 44. Now I do not know how to go on from here.
