Two equal swords clashing

    Eh.... when two identical swords "clang" together, is it possible that one of them breaks into two while the other one is still intact??

    Thanks....sorry for asking such a question....watching too much anime you see....

    Yes, certainly- if the edge of one hits the flat blade of the other.

    Or, more generally, assuming that "identical" means each has the same strong points and weak points, if a strong point on one strikes a weak point on the other.
