Two or three point test

  1. Jan 25, 2016 #1
Hi everyone. Can someone please explain me how a two or three points test can be made, in the field of genetics? I've read of it in many books, but I'm looking for an explanation as clear as possible. Thanks in advance :)

    I didn't understand your question
You want to conduct the 3 point test As in?
If I'm not wrong this 2-point 3-point test is to map linked genes right? Or are you referring to something else?

Correctly ...It's the test related to map the genes

Easier to do it with an example.
Try it out on your own first, you'll enjoy trying to figure it out on your own
    Take this, simple-
    The gametes
    ABC-390
    abc-374
    AbC-27
    aBc-30
    abC-8
    ABc-5
    Abc-81
    aBC-85

Firstly start off by identifying parental genotype and then which is the result of single cross and which double cross.
