Ugriz vs. u'g'r'i'z'?

  1. Jun 12, 2013 #1
I've searched around but can't seem to seem anything that addresses the differences between ugriz filters and u'g'r'i'z' filters. What are u'g'r'i'z'? Is there a way to convert u'g'r'i'z' into ugriz?

the U.G.R.I.Z filters is components of the UGRIZ filter set. U is ultraviolet filter, G=green light, R=red, I-infrared, z=is also part of the near infrared 900 nm filter this is judging from this link.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photometric_system beyond that I cannot really answer I'm hoping the link will provide you some direction.
