Programs UK student->US PhD

  1. Jun 19, 2008 #1

    I was just wondering if anyone could give me some information about the chances of UK student getting funding for a US PhD. Would being an international student make it much more competitive, or are domestic and international students given access to the same funding generally? Also would I stand a better chance if I applied to a private gradschool?

    Im interested in HEP theory, does anyone know the best schools in California (apart from Berkeley and stanford), and possibley New york/Florida might be an option.
