Uncertainties and conversions

    Here's my value: length: 8.25 +/- 0.05cm
    If I convert 8.25 to m how to I .. convert my uncertainty?

    Your uncertainty shouldn't change with the units. .05 cm is .0005 m. After all there is no uncertainty introduced with the conversion.
