Unfolded hypercube.

  1. Dec 6, 2009 #1
For reasons to convoluted to go into here I've been thinking about 4 dimensional cubes. If we unfold a three dimensional cube into two dimensions we get something that looks like a cross with a spine four squares long and two squares one on ither side. I've always assumed that an unfolded hypercube would be a tower four cubes high with four additional cubes on each of the faces of one of the "tower cubes", is this rather boring vision down to my lack of imagination or is it a plausable view? Better still can anyone suggest a more radical idea?
