Urea/ formaldehyde/ bleach mixture

  1. Feb 11, 2017 #1
Having burning lips, eyes, lung and sinus infections and worsening Asthma.
The issue is cat urine in large amts on
Laminate floors, possibly Chinese ( formaldehyde), being wiped up with many paper towels, then using Clorox or Lysol wipes... cat is 20+ and 4 lbs- a change
In past 3 mos. I think its renal failure,
but she is otherwise happy and active.
Have read all chlorox/ cat urine posts-
Pls advise on the addition of formaldehyde to the chemical composition. Thank you very much.

Sounds like you need to visit a vet.

In 2011, the US National Toxicology Program listed formaldehyde as a known human carcinogen. It is not something you would want to introduce to the air in your home.

This is also member introductions only, no questions. I suggest that you purchase a non-toxic enzyme based urine neutralizer for the floor. Also, take your cat to the vet, why are you asking us if you think your cat has renal failure? Thread closed.
