Urgent: homogenity of variances of equal sized populations

    Dear All,

I have an urgent probability question. It goes as follows:

A chemical tanker spills some chemicals near a coast. A survey team from the local University arrives at the scene and does some measurements.

They can 20 samples at 3 different distance from the beach. In the measuring the take into account distance from spill, concentration of chemical and number of effected wildlife in the area.

My teacher calls the 3 test sites for observations sites, and wants to show socalled equality of variances between the 3 sites.

My question is how do I show equality of vaiances?

Is it this formula that I use:

    Best Regards
    Hummingbird.
